1st grade: Picasso Roosters

First grade artists discussed the difference in style of Picasso's roosters. We discussed how we can use line to show texture and how we can use overlapping lines to blend colors to show the feathers. 

Students had a lot of fun with THE CHALLENGE (can we slowly and neatly outline our rooster in black?!) All artists were successful!! 

Below is our bulletin board in the hall, and more Roosters will be filling our Dugan halls shortly!

Welcome to our Art room blog!!

My name is Miss Ford, and I am so excited to join the wonderful artists at Dugan Elementary School!
